friday photo

Just one photo today -- now that the weather is getting nicer, and things are getting greener, the deer are coming out to munch on our lawn. The photo isn't great quality since I had to take it through the window so as not to scare the deer away, but I think you get the idea:

We've been seeing deer almost every day this week , twice right out in the backyard. So calm and peaceful and pleasant... it's actually starting to feel like spring. Thanks, April, for shaping up!

I went a little crazy at the grocery store because it's spring! And spring means almost summer and summer means delicious fresh produce. We're breaking out the grill this weekend, so I bought red and green peppers, eggplant, and mushrooms. Can't wait until the prices of asparagus and summer squash come down, because there is nothing better than grilled vegetables. NOTHING.

I totally know where you're coming from. My purchases in the produce department included the makings for peach-mango salsa, and plums, and kiwis, and bell peppers... ahhhh...now, all we need is the farmers' market to start every Saturday. And by August, the streets will smell like roasted chilles. My mouth is watering, already.

OH, and, while I was perusing the fruit, I saw some "Baby bananas" - ya' know, those "mini" bananas -and immediately thought of you and Evan =0)

I LOVE SPRING! Its about time huh? I am with you girl, the produce section is my best friend!!

Just today I got the best strawberries EVER! and we had some awesome steaks and broccoli and cucumbers and yum and yummy yum yum.

However, I am not a fan of your deer lovin'. For me deer are only a nuisance. But I am a Wisconsinite... and those crazy animals are EVERYWHERE just waiting to commit suicide on your vehicle. :(

Mmmm....I love me some grilled asparagus! We grilled hamburgers this weekend. It was so nice to sit outside and smell the charcoal!
